Place pecans and syrup in a skillet over medium-low heat. Stirring constantly, continue cooking the pecans and syrup while the syrup thickens and the water cooks out, about 5-7 minutes. When the water is nearly all evaporated, sprinkle the salt over the pecans.

Ingredients
-½ cup almond butter
-1 egg
-¼ cup coconut oil (melted)
-1 tosp vanilla
-¾ cup coconut sugar
-1 cup almond flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-Pinch of salt
-15 grams of Lily’s or Thrive Market dark chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. In a bowl, combine almond butter, egg, vanilla, melted coconut oil and swerve.
3. Add in the almond flour, baking soda and salt
4. For the chocolate chips, you can either mix them into the batter or you can sprinkle them and press them into the top once it's in the baking dish. I like to sprinkle because then I can evenly spread them.
5. Spray an 8x8 casserole dish, add in the batter and bake for 22 minutes.
6. Let cool and then cut!
