How to make your own delicious & clean cottage cheese bagels ππ₯―
Ingredients (makes 4 bagels):
-1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
-2 teaspoons baking powder
-1/4 teaspoon sea salt
-1 cup 2% cottage cheese - blended (excess liquid strained well; I like Good Culture)
-1 egg white (or 1 large egg, beaten) to brush the top of the bagels before baking
-Optional toppings: everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried garlic flakes, dried onion flakes
Instructions:
-Preheat the oven to 375Β°F. Place parchment paper or a silpat on a baking sheet. If using parchment paper, spray with avocado oil to avoid sticking.
-Brush on the egg
-Bake on the top rack of the oven for 25 minutes. Let cool at least 15 minutes before cutting; this step is a must.
